Job Description

Maintenance Manager


• Receiving current report on faults, determining order or preference in coordination with production factors and relaying instructions for implementing maintenance action;
• Identifying and diagnosing causes of fault;
• Supervising the carrying out of maintenance work in a professional and responsible manner;
• Confirmation withdrawal of spare parts/or ordering spare parts from technical stores as required;
• Preparing annual work plans for preventive maintenance in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions, factory maintenance policies, while allowing for adjustments that will fit in with the production system and technical department;
• Balancing the implementation of a preventive maintenance plan against planning, analyzing the gaps and setting preferences for work continuation;
• Preparing budget of investments and maintenance according to the work plan;
• Ordering equipment supplies and parts as required by the program;
• Updating the performance/non-performance in the computerized control systems;
• Participating in the choice of new equipment, giving suitable instructions to maintenance workers for the purpose of preparing the way for equipment installation;
• Managing all the maintenance work connected to the installation of new equipment;
• Training and assimilating working methods of the new equipment with the team of workers under his control;
• Making suggestions for the improvement of the existing equipment;
• Instructing maintenance workers how to carry out corrective work, supervision and control;
• Ordering equipment and parts from the technical stores for the purpose of carrying out the work;
• Updating relevant parties (technologists, team leaders or operators) about implementing the improvements and the operational importance;
• Updating computerized control systems, documenting the changes in machinery manuals and/or equipment;


• University degree – Mechanical or Automation Engineering;
• Knowledge of Technical English at a high level;
• Experience in managing team of workers;
• Ability to operate computer systems;
• Ability to schedule and prioritize multiple project activities.
